It started with a dream. Sheree always wanted to surround herself with animals. As she learned more about rescues, she knew that was the direction she should take. Thanks to support from Rodney the dream became a reality in 2018 when they purchased 15 acres in northwest Georgia.

Chickens were not a part of that dream until a chicken named Pearl won our hearts. We added to our flock and fell in love with our girls. We lost some to predators and some to illness. Our little flock of 3 make us happy and keep us entertained.

Then the reason for this whole endeavor brought Georgia and Ginny our standard donkeys to our family. Soon after, our minis joined the herd which was then rounded out with our two horses. Bringing us to a total of 8 equines.

It started out with the idea of a donkey rescue, but as anyone in rescue knows, things hardly ever go as planned!

Of course, our indoor rescues consist of our 7 cats. Needless to say, crazy cat lady is definitely used to describe Sheree!
